Designed to fund loans backed by digital assets, the bank is offering the equivalent of DeFi with a CeFi wrapper, in that depositors can access yield correlated to digital asset-based lending rates, yet know that, unlike DeFi, you won’t get liquidated by an individual investor and, unlike unlicensed CeFi, you won’t have your deposit rehypothecated in an unlicensed, unaudited, unregulated manner.
